Beavers Game with the Haroldsens!!

The Haroldsen family where nice enough to invite Father Haroldsen and I to a Beavers game with them... good times with the kiddos.. and Dan and Mel.

Cinco De Mayo Run!!!

Another race down!!! This time I did the 10k and increased my minutes per mile by 30 seconds!! It was another beautiful day in Oregon!!  Good times!! Ready for the next one!!

Bridges to Brews Run!!!!!

So..pumped!! I just ran in the Bridges to Brews Run in Portland and beat my personal record by 6 minutes... Rocked it!! You couldn't have asked for a better day for running.. It was clear blue skies and they shut down part of the Fremont and Broadway Bridge for the run... The run was definitely picturesque.. another run down and feeling good!!  as you can see.... Taz joined me in the run..

VIP... Matt and The Single Ladies Night

Last night I had a date with 3 of the most important ladies in my life... My 3 oldest nieces..Cassidy, Maddie and Makenna.. Man.. These ladies are a blast.. I had soo much fun.. Started with rocking it out in the car...




We then found our way to a good old fave of mine .. a sushi bar on 21st street in P-town.. Mak is a pro with the sushi world but the Pedersen ladies are new to it..



Maddie.. she has drinking problems..she wouldn't put the soy sauce down.. it got crazy.

Yummy...sushi.. these ladies where soooo awesome at trying new things..it was so fun to watch.. they tried.. squid, raw salmon, raw tuna, shrimp, tempura, edimame, crab along with a few others friends of the ocean.. I was proud of my cultured ladies..
Pederson ladies had never really worked the chop sticks.. they rocked it!!



WOW.. we downed it all!!Ladies.. lets work the streets of 21st!!!!


SURPRISE!!! We are going Ice Skating!!

They saw some cute boys so they ignored me for a little... working their "we're cute girls with attitude at the mall" look..
Oh.. its time to attack the ice!! They where a little nervous..

Mak.. was the first lady off the wall.. She was a natural.. but she spent the most time on her face on the ice.. she was a riot!!! Loved it!!

But then the Pedersen ladies broke free!!One of Mak's many crashes to the ice caught in a pic... but that didn't stop her.. she was all over that ice skating like a pro!!!

The Shamrock Run!!!

Soo.. Last Sunday a few of my friends and I ran in Portlands Shamrock Run in the pouring rain and all... 8k for Ash, Aaron, and I. Aaron, Kim's man, isn't in the pics bellow since he had to hurry to work after the runs....And 5k for Kim, Lindsey, Nelson and Aaron also... Yes..Aaron ran both.. he is a crazy running machine.. It was a nice warm up for the runs in the next few months and this summer and the biggie final of Hood to Coast in August.. I have been training and getting ready however I can for Hood to coast for the last 3 months.. so it was nice to putt my training into action.. It was great times with friends and great 1st running challenge... 

Sorry... we where all soo sweaty so these pics are pretty foggy in the car... that's gross..
